Australasian Gannet (Sula serrator) Colony at Cape Kidnappers, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. These gannets present a scene unique in nature. Known to the Maori people as Takapu, the gannet is usually an island breeder but has made a notable exception at Cape Kidnappers on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand.
