Livonia, MI Firestone 2001-130 Tornado Siren Test 3-7-09

Once again this is the 2001-130 that replaced the Whelen WPS-3016 that use to be at Emerson Middle School and the school is about a quarter mile south of this siren. This is located by a Firestone Audio Shop off of Plymouth Rd east of Middlebelt Rd. The sirens being heard in the background include: Thunderbolt 1000 at Jaycee Park South Redford Twp Thunderbolt 1000T at Redford City Hall (Can't hear in the video) 2001-130 Alert Signal at 5 mile and Middlebelt Rd 2001-130 Wail Signal at Bill Brown Ford (Which replaced the Shelden EOWS-612) |

Livonia, MI Fire Dept #1 (Headquarters) 2001 DC Tornado Siren Test 7-5-08

This was video taped back in July 5th, 2008 by me. This siren is no longer there anymore! West Shore Service Crew moved this siren to a different location in Livonia due to the fact that they made different tornado siren locations for the city of Livonia, Michigan. There is a Federal Signal 2001-130 about a quarter mile east of the Fire Station located at the Livonia Community Recreation Center. * * *IF ANYONE COMPLAINS ABOUT THE VIDEO QUALITY, YOUR COMMENTS WILL BE DELETED AND YOU WILL BE BLOCKED!!!* * * |

Livonia, MI Shelden Park EOWS-612 Tornado Siren Test 11-3-07

This was video taped back in Novemeber 3rd, 2007 by me. This is a Federal Signal EOWS-612 running in Alternate Wail signal for its monthly test. It was quite surprising for an EOWS-612 to be running this signal for monthly tests are warnings. THIS SIREN IS NOT LONGER AT SHELDEN FIELD ANYMORE!!! It was taken down because the city of Livonia installed new outdoor warning systems. The new outdoor warning systems are FS 2001-130s. This was located at Shelden Park off of Farmington and Plymouth Rd. |
