Speed Reading Programs For Kids – Hubs Superb
Posted by: | CommentsSpeed Reading Programs For Kids – How Do You Explain Autism To A Child?my sons (5 and 7) go to a regular school with a brilliant sped program. the kids with special needs are mainstreamed. while my sons are not as typical as typical might be (one has a reading learning disability and the other has speech delay) the kids with autism in their classes do stand out.
and my sons have started to notice and have started to ask me about them.
how do i explain the condition to them without letting them think that those children are sick (because theyre not) and that these children are in any way lesser than them (because theyre not!)?
they do witness other kids in their classes making fun of these children with autism and i dont want them to think that thats ok.
i can only think of telling them that all kids are different. but that just doesnt seem enough. or is it? – Speed Reading Programs For Kids
