While searching the internet I came upon some interest information regarding spirit guides. My understanding of spirit guides are that they a higher beings that used to roam the earth in a physical body which had passed on.

Before you were born your spiritual being made a deal with some other spiritual beings to look after you in the physical body, thereby becoming your guardian angel.

You apparently can ask your guardian angel for advice in which they will supply, but ultimately the decision remains yours and the results of those decisions also become yours. You guardian angel has lived a previous life or maybe previous lives and therefore has a keen understanding of human experience, which is why they can help guide you.
