ATLANTA — Adam LaRoche is headed back to the Atlanta Braves, and Casey Kotchman is returning to the American League. In an exchange of first basemen, the Braves sent LaRoche to the Boston Red Sox for Kotchman and cash before Friday’s 1 p.m. PDT deadline to make trades without waivers.
