Can Anyone Reccomend Some Good Gluten-free Preschool Snacks?My daughter is attends a private preschool and the parents take turns bringing in the snack. Every parent brings a snack once per month and the child gets to be the line leader for that day. Last year was easy but this year, in the pre-k class my daughter is in, is a child with Gluten allergies. Of course the mom is going to make sure that the school will have Gluten Free snacks on hand for the days when the donated snack is not ok but rather than alienate the little girl, Id rather be sure Im bringing in snacks that all the children can share. Im aware that fruit is ok, and popcorn but as far as other things go, Im not so sure. The mom says that some things that are thought to be Gluten Free are not really ok, such as jello, which has corn startch in it? Are there any parents of small children with Gluten problems that can lend some advice on yummy snacks I can bring in? I have to bring the snack once a month for the rest of the year so some advice would be helpful. Also, anyone have a recipe for gluten-free cupcakes? Ill be bringing cupcakes for my daughters b-day at the end of the month and will want to make sure the little Girl isnt left out.
