I need help thinking of a title for my novel before it starts because I need to fill out the novel info before it starts.
A poor boy meets a girl whose family is filthy rich in the streets one day because he knocked her over.
They meet again on board the Titanic. Hes a waiter she is in 1st class.
They fall in love.
The Titanic sinks with the girl safely aboard a life boat. The boy isnt.
The boy is saved from the water but the girl doesnt know this because she cant find him aboard the Carpathia.
She goes on to live in Boston for a few years mourning the loss of her boyfriend…
One of his friends keeps asking her to marry him.
She keeps saying no.
Her boyfriend has found her house and has been watching it for a few days. He notices that his friend keeps showing up.
He thinks that she married his friend.
After a few weeks he works up the courage to go visit her.
He finds out that shes not married and asks her The Question.
They get married.
Thats the short synopsis. I will choose the best answer based on how much your title appeals to me.

The couple have sort of an inside joke about tripping…The boy always accidentally trips her and knocks her over all the time. he does it to beautiful girls always by accident.

Would It Be Rude To Not Follow Through On My Promise?Last November, my friends and I participated In NanoWrimo, A national event where you Write A Novel In 30 days. We all won, good times were had by all, and now we have copies of our own novels sitting by our desks.
Heres the problem. My younger friend whom I introduced To NanoWrimo this year recently lent me her novel, which I promised To read. The problem? Its HORRIBLE. The plot is snails pace, the writing is mostly summary and exposition, and her three main characters are utterly detestable. The last thing I want To do is actually read the bloody thing, but each time I see her she asks, so have you started my book?
I dont want To disappoint her; shes A sweet gal. But I dont think I have it In me To stomach this novel, much less tell her To her face that I enjoyed it.
What should I do?

NaNoWriMo: Southern Baptists And Pentecostal Beliefs?Hello, all:
Im reposting this from last night To have (hopefully) more people see it and respond.
I am doing research for my NaNoWriMo Novel (details of the write A Novel In 30 days concept at http://www.nanowrimo.org), and I have A main character who is going To be either Pentecostal or Southern Baptist.
I would greatly appreciate anything that anyone can tell me about these two denominations or point me To good online resources, and information from someone on the inside would be supremely helpful. I want To be sure that I portray the characters beliefs accurately and In A way that does justice To these faith traditions.

Software For Novel Writing….?I am writing A Novel for the first time but the point is that sometimes i cant figure what To Write next. What Was A Standard Way Of Living In A 16th Century Village?I know my question is kinda vague, so Ill explain A bit…
Im doing A program called NaNoWriMo (http://www.nanowrimo.org/) and this is my third year doing it. In case youve never heard of it, its A yearly program where you Write A whole Novel In 30 days, starting on november 1st and ending on the 30th. I found previously that its hard To Write A book without knowing much about the time era youve set for it.
Well I decided To do my research this year before I start, and my book plot idea is set In the 16th century, with A fantasy-like genre (Youre typical fantasy like feel, like Eragon, Lord of the Rings, Stardust, etc).
I tried googling it, but didnt find much. Basically the information I need is How the typical person would live, and the way A village might be set up (Like what buildings would be In it), what sort of events might go on, etc.
I know its A lot To ask, and my experience with Yahoo answers is people like To answer short and quick. A web link or book recommendation will do if you dont quite have the time ;D And if you just want To answer with A small piece of information thats fine too.

Is Anyone Else Here Writing A Novel?Ive been managing 1500 words for the last 30 Days and I am so happy. Im only 18, and have already written A Novel (it stunk) but Im reading over my new piece of work and it actually has promise. Ill actually be able To finish this thing, and then be able To edit and revise etc. Im just really proud of myself. Ive been writing ever since Ive been little but for the first time I feel like Im really learning. I know this Novel (since its early work) is unlikely To get published but its A definite stepping stone To my dream of becoming an author. The more practice, I find, the better I get.

What Do You Think About My Novel Idea?Ill summarize the plot for you…
The main character is mountain dwelling child. He has the appearance of A 12 year old boy, with A golden aura shining off his skin, and grotesque plants on parts of his body. Hes lived In the mountains for hundreds of years. Humans begin encountering him and through various encounters, folklore of about him is born. In the stories, humans portray him as some sort of demon who has taken the form of A child. Eventually, the mountain dwelling child notices that humans have an extremely violent nature (cutting down trees, using guns To hunt, etc), and this scares him into journeying To another region.
Eventually, he stumbles upon A mansion. Not A village like before, but A simple mansion housing A small family. This intrigues him. Its owned by A couple In their 30s. The mountain dwelling child begins To spy on them, and realize that not all humans are violent. The couples infant dies from A fever, but the wife doesnt grieve over it. Shes outside looking at the stars A few Days after the death, and she notices the mountain dwelling child. She invites him inside. When he exits the forest To enter the property, his skin tone is no longer gold, but that of A human. The wife asks where he lives, and he says out In the forest, and she decides To adopt him. The two bond and he becomes like her own son.
The husband realizes that the boy is not human, and he begins To use him for gruesome experiments that would kill any mortal creature. The experiments put the mountain dwelling child In extreme pain. The wife finds out about the experiments, and tells the child To run far away from their house and never look back.
He runs away, and the wife murders the husband, lights the house on fire, and burns herself alive. The mountain dwelling child notices the fire and realizes that the only meaningful person In his life is now dead. He feels the pain of loss and loneliness for the first time, and resumes his life of wandering fruitlessly through the wilderness without purpose.
In the forest he encounters an old man. The old man tells the mountain dwelling child that he is A forest spirit, and thats why humans will never accept him. The old man sees In the childs eyes that hes seeking A sense of belonging, so he invites him To come with him.
This story idea came To me In A dream. Ive already began writing A Novel about it and Im nearly finished with it. What do you think of the plot? Its not extremely cliche, is it?
