Would It Be Acceptable If I Give A Gag/real Gift To The Bride On My Brothers Wedding?My brother is getting married at the end of the month. I, along with my other brother, are serving as best man. Since I have the most experience in public speaking And am not afraid to do so, I am slated to give the best man speech. I have been thinking about making my brother And his bride a kind of gag gift but real gift at the same time. It would be a three ring binder that I would either decorate the outside or something, And title it the names of the wedded couple And the weddding date. Inside, the gag gift would be that I had written down about one hundred things the bride needs to know about my brother in order to survive life with him. A majority of the numbers would be left blank so she could fill them out, but like numbers five thru one would be Funny ones with the exception of one as it would be he (my bro) loves you (my future sis in law) The real part of the gift would be that it would have my best man toast in there, as well as a place for a letter or written words from the maid of honor, And other things like pictures of the Wedding And such… During my speech, I would only mention the fact about the one hundred things needed to surivve life with my brother as well as the toast of the speech, but that is it.
